Tightrope walking robot – not spendy and totally necessary

Find me a high-wire and i shall traverse it (and I can spin real fast and not fall over)

The blurb on the box tells us that through eight experiments we can explore the astonishing powers of the motorised gyroscope and understand the physics behind its amazing behaviours and yada-yada-yada, experiments, science and explanations and so on…..

This bot can, after some pretty straight forward putting together, walk on a tightrope (start with a low string but go very high very quickly), it can spin on a single pivot point and not fall and balance on your finger or walk on your arm – all unaided. We’re having one, recreating that Man on a Wire stream from 2008 and going viral but only because we had the foresight to change the included eyes for some boggle ones. Yours for £30 at Thames and Kosmos
