Blast from the past as the boy actor who played Short Round in the 80’s Temple of Doom bagged a Golden Globe after giving up acting for over two decades. Ke Huy Quan was named best supporting actor for his role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, after writers sought him out for the part. Sought out after being seen almost accidentally by casting folks it is surely a testament to “never say never”.
