I’ve never really liked football, in fact I can’t stand it. It might simply be that I was very very bad at it when made to do it at School and the nightmares have never quite stopped.

This, on the other hand has warmed me to the so called “beautiful game” – Belgian club Charleroi have organised for the second year running a “Teddy Bear Picnic” where, ahead of the match, fans throw hundreds of Teddy bears and cuddly toys on to the pitch from their seats. They are then all collected up and distributed by Santa to underprivileged children in the city.
