Scooby sets are Spooktacular

lego2lego1

We’re in total agreement here at Toyology Towers that the original Scooby-Doo was by far the best, the feature film was dire and later episodes with upgraded animation techniques in place just don’t quite have the edge of the 70’s series. There are five sets in the Scooby series from LEGO, Mystery Plane, Mummy Museum,  Haunted Lighthouse, Mystery Mansion and The awesome Mystery Machine, the first two are OK (loving the Pumpkin head minifig),the Lighthouse caused a mid-range response but the final pair are, in our opinion absolute must-haves for any fans of the Great Dane and his spook-seeking sleuths. One for pub quizzers, Scooby Doo was named after a nonsense line in Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night” hit from 1966. The Danes have created a rather decent microsite for the new LEGO line-up over HERE
