Playmobil and LG Electronics – An interesting collaboration

LG have debuted a line of LG-themed Playmobil Toys at IFA Berlin, the consumer electronics and housewares trade show. The new range includes Playmobil figures and toy appliances that LG plans to offer at events beginning next year. The company says that the launch is part of its FUN (First, Unique, and New) focus on its customer experience.

“We’re delighted to give IFA visitors a sneak preview of our fantastic new toy collection, created in collaboration with Germany’s own Playmobil,” says Roh Soo-kie, head of brand communications at LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “Consumers will be able to get their hands on these very collectible, little toys at exclusive events and promotions starting in early 2023. We will continue to offer interactive activities that deliver unique customer experiences and highlight LG’s ongoing commitment to innovation for a better life, the toy collection includes a trio of new figures:

  • The safety-conscious and always-ready-to-help Henry aka LG Man;
  • Nora, a kitchen and lifestyle influencer;
  • and the fashion-forward JJ

Scale versions of LG’s washing machines, InstaView ovens, InstaView refrigerators, and the all-in-one WashTower will also be available.

The companies say that the Playmobil characters and appliances will also be seen on social media as the stars of new content, some of which will roll out on LG’s Life’s Good Kitchen Instagram account.
