On yer’ bike

Was the Chopper the very best bike ever? Ok, so the Grifter gave it a run for it’s money with the twist-grip-gear-change, the Striker perhaps with its pedal back brakes was good at leaving rubber skids on the road,  but, anyone with a Chopper could give, with some practice, at least two others a lift home. Achingly cool too for its time, I knew a chap who could, with ease, steer with his legs up on the handlebars – I think he was about 30! Here are a couple of 1:12 scale versions, rubber tyres with tread, working stand and steering, and in the iconic Brilliant Orange or Golden Yellow or perhaps you fancy the black or blue versions?  Oh, I do have gear stick stories but can’t bring myself to recall those moments! £20 each at Hobbies.co.uk
