Latest set from LEGO is right up our alley

A Diagon Alley set of 5,500 pieces is impressive enough, when completed  you’ve all of the must-visit shops, such as Ollivanders, Flourish & Blotts, and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes but it is the detail in each one that makes it truly stand out. The set is around 11 inches tall, 40 inches wide, and 5 inches deep – it is a monster and not one to let the kids lose on alone, this is a collaborate build for big and small people. You can display the modular shops in a row or put them on different shelves. Creative lead from LEG Marcos Bessa, said that each shop takes on the details of the films, some of which they had to dig down old photographs of because they whizzed past far too quickly on the screen.

The Weasley twins themselves (James and Oliver Phelps) bring us all of the details. There are fourteen minifigures that come with the set including the twins, the world-saving trio (Harry, Hermione, and Ron), Gilderoy Lockhart, Florean Fortescue, the Daily Prophet photographer and more. Its up on the LEGO website now for £369.99, “Evanesco” to the contents of your wallet.
