The Danish brick outfit are a tad shy of Toy Fairs these days, we didn’t see them in London and it was all undercover in Nuremberg (the words biggest gathering of toy trade people) so they’re unveiling all their new 2018 wares at New York Toy fair this week. We’ve plenty more to show you from across the fair, but, for now, wanted to show you this mew Harry Potter set, sure they’ve some new Star Wars stuff and Jurassic Park sets but they’re all a bit meh compared to this build. It’ll be about £100 when it hits in August, details of this four-level Great Hall are – fireplace, benches, tables and reversible house banners, plus a tower with a spiral staircase, potions room, treasure room, sorting hat, Mirror of Erised and lots of assorted magical artefact accessory elements. Also, TEN minifigures and buildable Basilisk and Fawkes creatures, plus Hedwig and Scabbers figures – Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Susan Bones, Professor McGonagall, Professor Quirrell with dual Lord Voldemort face, Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore and Nearly Headless Nick, plus buildable Basilisk and Fawkes creatures, and Hedwig and Scabbers figures. The 4-level tower features movable Grand Staircase spiral steps at its base, potions room, treasure room with chest and a turret featuring the Mirror of Erised with changeable pictures and roosting spot for Fawkes.
