At just a fiver a pack these nostalgia nodding packs of Top Trumps should find a place in stockings across the nation. I had all of them in my possession the first time around, the Horror packs pitted Dracula against various b-movie characters whilst over in Horror pack two Cyclops facing Wolfman was just one of many battles. An Exotic Car pack, Fantasty character pack and one celebrating Crazy cars, they’re all back, this time in a rather splendid tape cassette style pack. The pack that brought me much joy the other week playing with friends of a certain age was the Strikers of Today (1992 pack) – Questionable hair choices and thirty fine footballers from a golden age of the game including Ian Wright, Ally McCoist and Peter Beardsley.
