Dominos ex-delivery boy outbids others for his Scalextric Ultimate Track designed by Martin Brundle, with over £11,000 going to Children in Need. Yes, one Mr James Swift, a 39 year old Dominos Franchisee based in Swindon, this weekend outbid other Scalextric fans at CarFest South to win the track. “I began working as a Pizza delivery boy when I was 16” comments James, when quizzed about his winning bid. “I have a few Scalextric sets at home so when I saw that this was being auctioned for Children in Need it seemed the perfect way to not only add to my collection but to help raise money for the charity. The track first caught my attention back in June when Martin first designed it, my friend even tried to contact Martin about having the set so I was delighted when I saw that it was up for auction. I’m really looking forward to putting the Ultimate Track in my garage so I can race my friends!” – In his GARAGE, that’ll be quite some garage, does he mean Aerodrome?
