Colouring 2.0

Scene alive with free app

We’ve been doing it the same way for thousands of years, from early cave dweller etchings getting primitive hues to the recent resurgence in colouring-in with all manner of grown-up books (Game of Thrones a firm favourite at Toyology Towers) to fill in with new fancy felt tip pen sets. A new approach comes from the outfit who brought us “stickers to life” earlier this year, they’ve used some of that Augmented Reality technology and, with a dash of Virtual Reality are looking to launch their new discovAR product. Colour in the scenes and use the app to both bring the on-page characters to life and then take a 360 degree tour. Whatever colours you choose are the ones that’ll come-to-life and there’s the opportunity to also create your own “tour-guide” character and some educational facts to tick that edutainment box. Launching with the titles Underwater, Outer-Space and Wildlife initially the British outfit are looking for partners to invest to help them along with this adventure. Selling over 200,000 of their sticker product already in 2016 shoes they’ve form when it comes to success, and for just a tenner you can secure one of the first off the press.
