Ay Caramba, LEGO revisits Springfield with this new Simpsons set

It is a decade since the Danish brick maker got itself into the animated family way with the dysfunctional, delightful and enduring Simpsons. Their family house was first into the blocks in 2014 followed up a year later with the Kwik-e-Mart, now it’s time to eMMMbrace the burger with the Krusty burger set. Not quite as famous a joint as the Krusty Krab from Spongebob but just as tasty.

The 1,635 piece set includes Homer, Krusty, Sideshow Bob, Bart, Lisa, Lou, and Squeaky-Voiced Teen. The detail in the set is an absolute delight, VIP members of LEGO get a gift that’s been known to have the desired effect of folk splashing on a main set to nab these sought after bonus brick sets.

Are you going in at £179.99? We’re, for a change, not baulking at the price, and, its certainly one of those buy two – stash one, build one, this’ll return you your cash (Krusty Krab set lists now at over £600).

VIP’s get one of these by way of a “thanks”

Get over here and join up to VIP, stick in a pre-order, or don’t. DOH!
