A New Decade Ahead: TechUp Powers Up Partnerships and Curates the Future of Play at CES 2020

 

 

With CES 2020 around the corner, we’re looking at over 170,000 people from across the globe descending on Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2019 Consumer Electronic Show, action packed with some of the most innovative technology from around the world.

TechUp, a curated service designed by play innovation experts, Peter Jenkinson, Toyologist and Founder of Toyology alongside Valerie Vacante, product innovator and Founder of Collabsco will be heading to CES, the world’s gathering place for innovation and consumer technologies for their second year in a row.

TechUp puts the latest products into people’s hands so they can play, learn and explore the latest tech and connected play experiences at the world’s most forward-thinking events — as seen at: WIRED Live, WIRED Next Generation, CES and SXSW.

After its successful showing at CES 2019, TechUp will be landing back in Las Vegas to bring together the future of gaming, play and immersive entertainment to the global stage at CES 2020.

Power Up Partnerships + Perspectives

For their second year, TechUp is partnering with Living in Digital Times to host sessions at the Kids and Family Tech Summit taking place January 9th 2020.

TechUp’s Valerie Vacante will be showcasing key insights on the connected play landscape as well as leading the discussion, The Future of Play Gaming and Immersive Entertainment featuring industry leaders including Chris Down, Chief Design Officer of Mattel, Tommy Tallarico, President | CEO of Intellivision Entertainment and Zai Ortiz, CEO of Alta Games | Co-Founder and President of Virsix Games.

TechUp’s Peter Jenkinson will facilitate the discussion, Toys R Us & ASTRA Fireside Chat featuring David Di Bene, Chief Marketing Officer of Toys “R” Us Stores USA and Kimberly Mosley, CPE, President American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.

TechUp will be conducting interviews from the CES stage and show floor with some of the most innovative companies shaping the ways people explore the world of emerging technologies, play, gaming, and entertainment.

Interviews and TechUp content from CES 2020 will be available through official media partners Toyology, Licensing Biz, ToyNews as well as TechUp’s YouTube channel.
