Mr Potato head – The one-off wonky one

asda

Since 1952 Mr Potato head has been through some changes (the early one was just pieces that you put into actual vegetables) and we’ve seen him in many guises, Darth Tater amongst our favourites but this one is his weirdest outing yet. In collaboration with Asda this particular Mr. Head is part of the supermarkets wonky veg project. this is where they  sell discounted boxes of misshapen fruits and vegetables to benefit the charity FareShare. The idea behind the toy was to show it’d still be fun to play with even if it were wonky just as wonky fruit and veg are just as yum as their non-irregular counterparts – There. Simple idea, executed marvellously by Hasbro, currently available on eBay, all proceeds benefitting the charity and every £1 raised can provide enough food to make four meals for the vulnerable and hungry. Superb stuff. If you fancy this one-off plaything, this only-of-its-kind-ever! Head over to eBay where the price is still under £300.
